Trakm8 Awarded Calor Gas UK Integrated Telematics Supply Contract

 

 

Trakm8, the AIM quoted telematics and data provider to the global market place, is pleased to announce it has been awarded a five year contract by Calor Gas UK in conjunction with its reseller partner Dakota Integrated Solutions (www.dakotais.co.uk), to supply the RoadHawk 600 integrated camera and telematics solution with tachograph download, driver behaviour and data analytics.

 

The contract is valued at in excess of £1.3m and the units will be deployed during 2017.

Character renews Licence for Teletubbies

Three-year renewal follows success of toy range since launch

LONDON: FRIDAY 14 JULY 2017:  The Board of the Character Group is pleased to announce that DHX Brands (the dedicated brand management and consumer products arm of DHX Media (TSX: DHX.A, DHX.B; NASDAQ: DHXM)), has extended Character Options Limited's (the Group's principal trading subsidiary) master toy license for Teletubbies for a further three years, following the current toys' retail success.  The deal, which runs until 2020, is for worldwide manufacturing rights with U.K. distribution and will see Character Options adding further plush and plastic toys to the range.  New lines (such as Tiddlytubbies) will be inspired by exciting new elements from season two, which launched earlier in 2017.  

The Group's partnership with DHX began in September 2014 and since then the two companies have worked closely together to re-create the iconic well-known characters and bring a refreshed, contemporary look to one of the world's most well-known pre-school properties.  The Teletubbies product range was first re-launched in January 2016 and was the number one best-selling new toy property in the UK that year.

The contract is worth a minimum of €200,000 with the potential to rise to a maximum of over €1m and is for a 48 month period

Midatech signs global license agreement to investigate panobinostat for treatment of brain cancers

 

Midatech Pharma (AIM: MTPH; Nasdaq: MTP), the international specialty pharmaceutical company focused on commercialising and developing products in oncology, today announces that it has signed a global licensing agreement with Novartis for the oncology compound panobinostat. Panobinostat will be developed by Midatech for the treatment of Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) as a continuation of its existing MTX110 program, and potentially for Glioblastoma (GBM).

 

In pre-clinical test models, panobinostat, which is a pan-HDAC inhibitor, demonstrated very high potency against DIPG tumour cell lines. In one such study panobinostat was the most effective of more than 80 anti-cancer agents tested.

 

Midatech's MTX110 program is focused on the treatment of DIPG, a childhood brain cancer that is nearly always fatal, with a median survival of approximately 9 months. Using a technique called Convection Enhanced Delivery, MTX110 is infused directly into the brain tumour, and diffuses through and around it. This technique allows for elevated drug concentrations to be delivered to the tumour, while at the same time minimizing systemic toxicity and peripheral side-effects. MTX110 has been used to treat 5 patients to date in the USA and UK under its compassionate use program. In these patients MTX110 has been well tolerated thus far. We believe it holds promise as a potential therapeutic treatment for DIPG, for which there are currently no approved or effective therapies. Clinical studies in patients are planned to commence during 2017. Financial terms have not been disclosed.

Iceland Foods Awards Trakm8 Optimisation & Telematics Contract Extension

 

 

Trakm8, the AIM-listed telematics and data provider to the global market place, is pleased to announce it has been awarded a contract extension by Iceland Foods Limited, the UK's leading frozen food retailer.

 

The contract extension covers the provision of Trakm8's Route Monkey Optimisation software and updates Trakm8's Roadsense telematics with Trakm8's latest "RoadHawk 600" integrated 4G video and telematics solution, with data provided via Trakm8's latest data solution "Insight". The new contract extension will run until April 2024.

 

Trakm8, through Route Monkey and Roadsense, has been providing solutions for over 1,500 Home delivery vehicles and optimising over 11 million deliveries per year. The next generation solutions will provide even better optimisation of these deliveries, far better insights into how the vehicles are being driven and the vehicle service requirements. The solutions will be fully integrated within the Trakm8 software and Iceland's EPOS.

International Expansion Update

Crimson Tide (TIDE), the AIM‐quoted provider of mpro5 ‐ Smart Mobility as a Service, is pleased to update the market on progress with its international expansion strategy, which it has previously indicated will drive further growth opportunities. Strategic partnerships with tactical investments are being made in new geographies, complementing the organic growth being delivered in the UK.

Particular areas of progress are as follows:

 

 

·     Ireland – first phase contract secured with one of the largest state-sponsored companies in Ireland. The initial agreement is for approximately 200 subscribers who will be using mpro5 for remote working. This transaction has been closed with the Company's partner, Vodafone. To support the ongoing growth in Ireland, Wesley Dunn has been promoted to a full time role in Business Support.

 

·     United States –  Dagen Wilhelm has been appointed as International Healthcare Consultant. Ms. Wilhelm, based in the Washington D.C. area, will focus on business development for mpro5 with specific emphasis on the Company's healthcare offering. Dagen will be the key contact for our participation in the CARIN Allliance, which focuses on delivering solid pharmacovigilance and digitalised healthcare. The CARIN Alliance is a bipartisan, multi-sector collaborative, working to advance consumer-directed exchange of health information.  Further to this, Crimson Tide is also in the process of establishing membership of RX360 – an international Pharmaceutical Supply chain consortium.

 

·     Netherlands – Following the recruitment of Erik-Jan Smulder, a seasoned sales professional previously with BlackBerry, the Company has signed an important pilot project with one of the world's leading Facilities Management companies, based in The Netherlands, which is looking to combine mpro5's smart mobility with Internet of Things ("IoT") enabled functionality. The pilot has commenced and the Company is hopeful that this will lead to a long term commercial agreement in the near future.

 

·     Denmark – The Company has secured its first contract with a Scandanavian company with a global footprint involved in the food processing industry. The use of mpro5 will enable staff to check workflows as components move through the supply chain. The initial deployment is small but expected to increase as the benefits of mpro5 are recognised.

 

·     UAE – our agreement with the British Centres for Business, ("BCB") has started to produce Enterprise level opportunities to the extent that we are pleased to announce the appointment of Senior Consultant Brad Manser with immediate effect. Mr. Manser, who is based in Dubai, will act as Director of Business Development for the Middle Eastern region. Brad has a wealth of experience in the area with previous roles as Operations Manager, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director for a number of companies within the region.

 

·     Australia. The Company has got off to a good start with its new partner, Mobilise IT , based in Melbourne and will be visiting the region shortly to progress emerging opportunities. 

 

The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Barry Finnegan, an IoT strategist who will help develop our nascent investment in IoT technologies on mpro5. IoT has considerable benefits for intelligent and proactive data collection, particularly regarding smart sensors from motion to temperature & humidity, and Bluetooth devices which, we believe, represents a significant opportunity for mpro5 and Crimson Tide.
