TPX Notbinary launches Robotic Process Automation subsidiary

 

The Panoply Holdings PLC, the digitally native technology services Group, is delighted to announce the launch of TPX human+, a specialist robotic process automation ("RPA") business. TPX human+ has been set up as a subsidiary of TPX Notbinary, one of The Panoply's existing Group companies.

 

TPX human+ is a provider of robotic process automation services, primarily to the government and not for profit industries. The business has developed organically in response to strong demand from TPX Notbinary's existing customer base, and marks The Panoply's entry into the RPA market, further building out the UK Cluster's set of digital transformation capabilities. Gartner estimates the worldwide market size of RPA C&SI services was $1.5 billion in 2017, growing at over 50% year over year.

 

The Group has entered into strategic partnerships with Blue Prism, UiPath and Thougtonomy, and TPX human+ will act as an implementation partner to these software vendors as well as providing other related consultancy services. Government and not for profit organisations are increasingly looking at the benefits RPA can bring following the uptake being seen in the private sector.

 

The Panoply is investing into TPX human+ in line with its strategy to back start-ups with strong management and strong potential for growth. As a subsidiary of TPX Notbinary TPX human+ will be subject to the TPX Notbinary earn-out formula which runs until 31 March 2020.

 

TPX human+ will be led by David Biden and Ciara MacCooey, who both have a wealth of experience in applying modern technologies into complex business environments. TPX human+ currently has proof-of-concept projects active with a number of large clients, including a university, a county council and a not for profit organisation. TPX human+ are confident that the Group's existing client base and reputation in the government and not for profit sectors will allow them to quickly gain a foothold in the RPA market.

iTrack Contract Win

 

Transense Technologies plc, the provider of sensor systems for the transportation, automotive, avionic and industrial markets, is pleased to announce that Translogik, its trading division providing tyre management solutions, has won a further contract through its Ghanaian partner WATS (West African Tyre Services) to supply 41 iTrack II mining tyre monitoring systems for haul trucks at BISSA, a Nordgold mine in Burkina Faso. 

These systems are to be supplied on a rental and service basis via WATS, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rana Motors & Metal Works Engineering Company Ltd. This method allows mining companies to benefit from the productivity gains and overhead savings provided by using the system without any of the associated capital cost while providing Translogik with a recurring revenue stream.

Vibi Chandra, Director, Sales & Services Director, OTR Tyres, WATS, said: "The considerable advantages that Nordgold have seen at their sister mine SOMITA, where we installed iTrack in May 2018, have persuaded Nordgold to adopt the system at BISSA. Under the terms of the contract Osirium will deliver its full PxM Platform including the Privileged Access Management, Privileged Task Management and Privileged Session Management modules. The license is initially for 250 devices of the three modules and is set to run for 12 months.  

 

The Osirium platform will enable the customer to develop secure, managed services with tight controls over access to systems, as well as detailed reporting.

Contract Wins in the rail sector

Crimson Tide, the provider of mpro5, mobility as a service, announces a number of contract wins in the rail sector which have been achieved through its new partner channel.

An initial win has been gained with Arriva UK Trains subsidiary Chiltern Railways, with mpro5 providing mobile auditing solutions for train presentation. A further subscriber agreement has been signed with Northern Rail, where mpro5 will assist with staff management and station presentation.

These transactions have been won via our partner Graphite Partners, with assistance from our OEM partner Samsung Electronics. The best of breed approach for device, functionality, flexibility and deployment convinced Northern Rail to commit to a five year agreement.

With the full contract value of the agreements amounting to  nearly £250,000, the acquisition of these agreements represents a step forward in our engagement with the Rail and Transport industry with further opportunities being explored directly and with our partners' support.

GE Aviation Contract Win

Transense Technologies Plc (AIM: TRT), the provider of sensor systems for the transportation, automotive, avionic and industrial markets, is pleased to announce that their licensee GE Aviation (GE) T901-GE-900 engine has been selected by the U.S. Army for the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the Improved Turbine Engine Program (ITEP), the U.S. Army's endeavor to re-engine its Boeing AH-64 Apaches and Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawks. The T901 engine incorporates a Transense Technologies Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) sensor.

The US Army intends to replace the more than 6,000 engines installed in their current fleet of these two aircraft; the wider market for the T901 includes replacement engines for these aircraft in military forces outside of the USA as well as other military and commercial medium sized vertical take-off aircraft opportunities globally.

Transense's Graham Storey stated, "We are very proud of the involvement of Transense's SAW technology in this engine and look forward to working with GE in the future".

GE will pay a perpetual sales royalty to the Company in respect of each unit using the technology, under the license agreement previously announced by the Company in July 2016 and March 2017.

The minimum total contract value of £2.34 million in aggregate over the 3-year term is for the provision of conference calls across Clifford Chance's global operations, spanning 32 major financial centres in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The LoopUp product is typically offered on a pay-as-you-go, per minute per guest basis. However, this renewal with Clifford Chance on a guaranteed minimum spend basis is a mark of their commitment to the Group's differentiated product over the long-term.
